Two killed as car falls into gorge in Shimla’s Nerwa

A car fell into a deep gorge on the Kiri–Naav road near Dochi under Pujarli gram panchayat in Nerwa, Shimla district.

Two people were killed: Naresh Kumar (35), a PWD multitask worker from Dochi, and Jitender from Chadchdhar in Dhabas area.

The car skidded off the road and fell 100–200 metres into the gorge; both occupants died on the spot.

Police have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
