Ripudaman Singh Malik killer sentenced for another fatal shooting in 2022

Tanner Fox was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the fatal shooting of Chad Colivas in Abbotsford, British Columbia, on March 21, 2022.

Fox was already serving life without parole for the murder of Ripudaman Singh Malik in July 2022.

Chad Colivas was shot when he confronted Fox after Fox broke into his residence; Colivas was unarmed and the incident was not gang-related.

Fox was arrested in May 2023 and charged with second-degree murder; Laetitia Acera was also arrested and charged with manslaughter.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team stated Colivas's life was taken due to a senseless act of violence.
