Central Railway Restores Down Line On Mumbai–Pune Route After 10 Days Of Intense Work Following July 6

Central Railway reopened the Down line between Karjat and Lonavala on July 14.

Restoration work took 10 days following landslides on July 6.

First passenger train, CSMT-Latur Express, crossed the repaired stretch at restricted speed.

Deccan Queen and Intercity Express services will resume from July 16.

The Up line still requires 7–10 more days of restoration.
