Baghpat: Wanted in 38 cases, Sushil Mooch gang sharpshooter killed

Vipul Singh, alias Khooni, a sharpshooter for the Sushil Mooch gang, was killed in an encounter with the Uttar Pradesh STF's Meerut unit and Baghpat police in Singhawali Ahir area.

He was wanted in 38 criminal cases across Uttar Pradesh and Delhi, including murder, attempt to murder, robbery, and dacoity.

Police recovered two .32 bore pistols, live and spent cartridges, and an Apache motorcycle from his possession.

He carried a ₹ 50,000 reward announced by the Shamli police and had pending non-bailable warrants in a 2014 murder case.

The encounter occurred after a tip-off; he sustained bullet injuries during an exchange of fire and was declared dead at the hospital.
