Pune: Kharadi–Keshavnagar Bridge Likely To Open By August 15; Final Road Works Underway

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) expects the Kharadi–Keshavnagar bridge over the Mula-Mutha River to open by August 15.

The bridge, built on a public-private partnership model at ₹23.20 crore, aims to ease traffic between Kharadi, Mundhwa, Keshavnagar, Magarpatta, Hadapsar, Wagholi, and Vadgaon Sheri.

Main bridge structure is complete; final work on a 700-metre approach road between Renuka Mata Temple area and Godrej is ongoing, including footpaths and asphalting.

Standing Committee Chairman Srinath Bhimale directed remaining work to be finished by August 15 to open the bridge for vehicular traffic.
