Vaibhav Sooryavanshi reveals how VVS Laxman's trust and Ishan Kishan's support fueled heroics vs Zimbabwe

in5points
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi credited India's stand-in head coach VVS Laxman for giving him the freedom to play without fear during the Zimbabwe tour.
The 15-year-old finished as Player of the Series with 151 runs in three matches, including knocks of 50 and 81.
Sooryavanshi said Laxman's reassurance before the series and the team management's encouragement to play his natural game helped him settle at international level.
He highlighted Ishan Kishan's support and their shared Bihar roots as helping him bond in the dressing room.
Sooryavanshi's earlier success at Harare included a 175 in the Under-19 World Cup final at the same venue earlier this year.
