Khadakwasla increases water discharge

  1. Khadakwasla irrigation division increased discharge from Khadakwasla dam into Mutha river to 9,372 cusecs at 5 pm on July 25, 2026.

  2. Discharge was raised after fresh rainfall and increased inflows, following a morning reduction from 9,405 to 4,708 cusecs.

  3. Officials warned residents to stay away from Mutha riverbed and advised low-lying area residents to shift livestock and belongings.

  4. Khadakwasla dam was 100% full at 6 pm, storing 1.97 TMC of water.

  5. Combined storage in the four-reservoir Khadakwasla complex stood at 23.42 TMC (80.35%) with combined inflow of 824 million cubic feet that day.
