Chennai founder recalls quitting ₹1 crore US job to start from scratch in India: ‘It wasn't a random move'

Chennai entrepreneur Vivek Thiruvengadam, founder and CEO of Qubit Fitness, left a ₹1 crore-a-year job in the US and returned to India.

He started Qubit Fitness in January 2021 with ₹90,000 in savings, no office, no investors, and no team.

By end of 2021, Qubit Fitness's revenue was ₹20 lakh, 19% of his previous US salary.

After six years, Thiruvengadam achieved his personal goal of earning what he did in the US, but as a business owner.
