IIT-Delhi team likely to survey fire-hit Aliganj bldg, surroundings

IIT-Delhi team to conduct a comprehensive technical survey of the fire-hit Aliganj commercial building and neighboring structures.

The survey aims to expose violations of sanctioned building plans, land-use regulations, and fire safety norms.

LDA, LMC, and other departments will assist by providing building plans and official records.

Teams will inspect nearby properties for structural deficiencies, unauthorized land-use changes, and inadequate fire safety measures.

The final report will be submitted to the Supreme Court and UP government, forming the basis for action against violators.
