Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski set a franchise record by striking out the first seven Colorado Rockies batters to start a game.

Misiorowski struck out 11 of the first 12 batters he faced and retired the first 14 batters before Cole Carrigg homered in the fifth inning.

The previous Brewers record for consecutive strikeouts to start a game was six, set by Quinn Priester in 2025.

The major league record for consecutive strikeouts to start a game is nine, held by Pablo López since July 11, 2021.
