Friday prayers held near Madhya Pradesh’s Bhojshala complex after SC nod

Madhya Pradesh government allocated a plot near Bhojshala complex in Dhar for Friday prayers after Supreme Court order.

Muslim community offered Friday prayers at the temporary site after a two-week gap; the administration leveled farmland and spread plastic sheets.

Police were deployed after local residents objected, claiming the land was privately owned; officials said records show the land belongs to the government.

Supreme Court on July 10 directed the administration to allocate land adjacent to Bhojshala for Friday prayers between 1 PM and 3 PM.

Abdul Samad from Kamal Maula Welfare Society expressed satisfaction as they could see Kamal Maula Mosque while praying.
