Army's intelligence units, Rajasthan police bust counterfeit combat uniform racket in Sriganganagar

Indian Army intelligence and Rajasthan police seized nearly 1,000 metres of counterfeit combat cloth from shops in Sriganganagar district.

The operation on July 30 followed an interim report shared with Rajasthan police in mid-July, leading to searches across Sriganganagar, Lalgarh Jattan, and Suratgarh.

A local firm in Sriganganagar was identified as a key link in the network supplying counterfeit army-pattern cloth to vendors.

Similar counterfeit cloth was seized in Bareilly in June 2026, traced back to a manufacturing source in Sriganganagar.
