Zanzibar President in India to boost strategic partnership, cooperation

Zanzibar President Hussein Ali Mwinyi is on a four-day visit to India.

The visit aims to strengthen the India-Tanzania Strategic Partnership.

Mwinyi attended IIT Madras convocation before arriving in New Delhi for talks with top Indian leaders.

The visit builds on shared priorities as partners in the Global South.
