Thorbjornsen earns maiden PGA win at Rocket Classic

Michael Thorbjornsen won his first PGA Tour title at the Rocket Classic on Sunday.

He sank a 26-foot putt on the final green to finish at 18-under 262, two shots ahead of Xander Schauffele.

Thorbjornsen shot a final round 63, with birdies on 10, 12, 14, 15, and 18.

Davis Riley finished third at 15-under, and Rasmus Hojgaard was fourth at 14-under.

Thorbjornsen, a former Stanford golfer, had previously been a runner-up twice since turning pro in June 2024.
