Suriya reveals secret to everlasting love with Jyotika before 20th wedding anniversary: ‘Stand by them, respect them’

At a promotional event for the film Vishwanath & Sons in Chennai, Suriya advised that love should be everlasting and not end after marriage.

Suriya emphasized the importance of respecting one's partner and standing by them, especially acknowledging women's compromises in marriage.

Suriya and Jyotika met on the set of the 1999 Tamil film Poovellam Kettuppar and married on September 11, 2006, in Chennai.

The couple has two children: daughter Diya, born in 2007, and son Dev, born in 2010.

Jyotika recently returned to Hindi cinema with the 2024 films Shaitaan and Srikanth, and last starred in the Prime Video court drama System.
