Urban Company swings to Rs 92 crore Q1 FY27 loss despite 44% revenue growth as InstaHelp spending surges

Urban Company reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 92 crore for Q1 FY27, compared with a profit of Rs 7 crore a year earlier, despite revenue rising 44% to Rs 528 crore.

InstaHelp recorded an adjusted EBITDA loss of Rs 132 crore, while excluding it, Urban Company posted an adjusted EBITDA profit of Rs 67 crore.

The company delivered 13.2 million orders, up 79% year on year, and added 1.2 million new users in the quarter.

Urban Company launched the Native M3 Pro water purifier and Lock Ultra smart lock with facial recognition.

International operations in UAE and Singapore saw NTV grow 76% to Rs 237 crore, while Waed in Saudi Arabia reported 135% NTV growth.
