After Heavy Rain Havoc, Minister Shivendraraje Bhosale Reviews Road & Bridge Damage In Palghar

Maharashtra PWD Minister Shivendraraje Bhosale inspected rain-damaged roads and bridges in Palghar district after heavy rainfall caused severe flooding.

Bhosale directed officials to immediately undertake repair and reconstruction works on the affected Manor–Maswan–Palghar route to restore traffic smoothly and safely.

Palghar was among the worst-hit districts, with over 200 villages losing connectivity after rivers overflowed due to incessant rain and dam releases.

At least two people died and more than 224 were rescued during the floods in Palghar.

The minister was accompanied by District Collector Dr Indu Rani Jakhar, MLAs Rajendra Gavit and Vilas Tare, MP Hemant Savara, and senior PWD officials during the inspection.
