Cocaine worth over ₹10 lakh seized in Kolkata, 3 held

Kolkata Police arrested three persons and seized 104 grams of cocaine worth over ₹10 lakh from a hideout on Ahiripukur Road.

The accused were allegedly supplying cocaine in small packets to rave parties across Kolkata.

Police suspect the cocaine was procured from international traffickers using the dark web and smuggled via courier or human carriers.

The three accused have been remanded to police custody for interrogation to identify the wider syndicate and source.

Kolkata Police held a coordination meeting with agencies including the Narcotics Control Bureau and Directorate of Revenue Intelligence to strengthen action against drug trafficking.
