Forest workers protest outside minister’s home in Ggm for regularisation

Forest Department Workers’ Union, Haryana (affiliated to CITU) protested outside minister Rao Narbir Singh's residence in Gurugram on Aug 2, 2026.

Workers demanded regularisation, restoration of muster roll system, minimum monthly wage of ₹26,000, and social security benefits.

Union president Vijay Kumar and state general secretary Rajkumar Solanki alleged government shrinking forest department and favoring private nurseries.

Protest began at Kamla Nehru Park and lasted from 11am to 2.30pm.
