Pakistan Army chief Asim Munir brokered a secret deal between Iran and Saudi Arabia for a de-facto ceasefire.

The deal involved Iran stopping attacks on Saudi Arabia in exchange for exporting its oil via Pakistan.

Munir set up a Pakistan-Iran joint venture with IRGC chief Ahmad Vahidi to facilitate the discreet oil exports.
