August Annapurna Bhandar payment date announced

The August 2026 instalment of the Annapurna Bhandar scheme is expected to be credited in the first week of August.

Beneficiaries receive ₹3,000 monthly under the scheme, which replaces West Bengal's Lakshmi Bhandar that paid up to ₹1,500.

The scheme is a BJP poll promise for the 2026 West Bengal assembly elections.

Credit status can be checked via the state's Social Security Portal using Application ID, Aadhaar, or mobile number.
