Bomb-making note found at medical college in Ayodhya; student detained

A first-year paramedical student was detained after a handwritten note with bomb-making information was found in the X-ray department of Rajarshi Dashrath Autonomous State Medical College in Ayodhya.

The student, Sarfaraz, a resident of Balrampur district, told police he copied the information from a film he watched on his laptop during night duty.

Police are verifying the claim and have questioned Sarfaraz and two other students; no arrest or charges have been made.

The note was handed to the college administration by staff, who then informed the police.
