Young Bengaluru mother finds husband cheating, kills herself

Sanika Gowda, a 20-year-old mother in Bengaluru, died by suicide at her parents' house in Rayasandra after discovering her husband's extramarital affair through an audio clip.

Sanika's husband, Nagaraj alias Sharan Gowda, a cab driver, had shared an audio clip with her in which he was heard speaking with another woman, revealing his relationship.

Before hanging herself between 1:30am and 2am on Sunday, Sanika made a video call to Nagaraj informing him of her intent.

Sanika's father filed a complaint, leading police to register a case of dowry death; no death note was found.
