Shreveport mass shooting: What happened in Louisiana city today? Mass casualty incident reported

A mass casualty incident was reported at West 61st Street and Linwood Avenue in Shreveport, Louisiana, on Thursday afternoon.

At least one adult male arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound; officers also discovered a deceased individual near 61st Street and Linwood Avenue.

Shreveport Police Department responded with at least 20 units and is investigating the connection between the incidents.

A separate shooting occurred at Centenary Avenue, Topeka Street, and Olive Street, where a sedan opened fire on three males, hitting one white male in the thigh.

The condition of the two black males injured in the Centenary Avenue shooting is unknown, and no suspects have been identified.
