‘Recommend CBI probe into exam irregularities, give ₹1 cr to excise constable exam victims’

BJP leader Raghubar Das demands a CBI probe into irregularities in exams conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC).

Das calls for ₹1 crore compensation each to families of 11 aspirants who died during the physical examination for the excise constable recruitment exam.

Das alleges JPSC entrusted work to a private agency (TDPL) blacklisted in Uttar Pradesh and by JSSC in Jharkhand in 2025, despite which it was awarded work.

CID raided JPSC office on July 22 and arrested nine persons; JPSC chairman L Khiangte resigned, and nine exams were postponed.
