Mulund dump to house concrete plant, casting yard for Dharavi revamp project

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) approved leasing 15 acres of Mulund dumping ground to Adani Navbharat Developers for a concrete plant and casting yard.

Adani Navbharat Developers will pay ₹98.46 crore as lease rent for a five-year period.

The 15-acre site contains 250,000–300,000 metric tonnes of legacy waste that must be removed and processed before use.

The facility will support the Dharavi redevelopment project, which aims to provide housing for over 10 lakh people.
