Odisha: Public entry at Puri's Gundicha Temple to close at 6 pm for Rath Yatra rituals

Public entry to Puri's Gundicha Temple will close at 6 pm on Thursday for Bahuda Yatra rituals.

The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration announced the closure to facilitate 'Shodha' and other rituals ahead of the return journey.

Thursday is the last day for devotees to have 'darshan' at the 'Adapa Mandap', where sibling deities have been staying since Rath Yatra.

'Sandhya Darshan' is considered the final opportunity to seek blessings before deities return to Jagannath Temple, about 2.6 km away.

Bahuda Yatra, the return journey of Lord Jagannath and sibling deities, will take place on Friday with elaborate security arrangements.
