Chandigarh: Juvenile among six caught for armed attack, vandalism

Five men and a juvenile were arrested for an armed attack and vandalism in Dadu Majra, Chandigarh.

The incident involved smashing the rear windscreen of a Volkswagen Virtus and creating a disturbance outside a residence.

The attack occurred around 4 am on July 27, 2026, and was captured on CCTV.

Arrested individuals include Dhruv alias Ajju (21), Shubham alias Mota (18), Ashudeep alias Battery (20), Prince alias Ghoda (21), and Ankush alias Hakla (23).

Some accused have prior cases for assault, rioting, and Arms Act violations.
