Nuh village clash leaves one dead; 50 booked by police

Mohammad Sajid, 35, was shot dead during a clash between two rival groups in Nizampur Chhawa village, Haryana's Nuh district.

Around 100 to 120 people armed with rods and sticks were involved in the violence that lasted nearly an hour.

At least 20 villagers were injured but none filed a medico-legal report fearing arrest.

An FIR was registered against 50 suspects under BNS sections including murder and rioting, plus the Arms Act.

Police formed teams to identify the shooter and arrest those who fled the scene.
