Cigarettes worth Rs 50,000 stolen from salesman’s scooter outside bakery in Bengaluru

Cigarettes worth Rs 50,000 were stolen from a salesman's scooter outside Ganesh Bakery in LR Bande, north Bengaluru.

The salesman, Suresh G, 56, had stopped for five minutes to make a delivery; when he returned, the bag containing cigarette cartons and bills was gone.

The cigarettes were Marlboro packs collected from SG Traders in Dasarahalli for supply to retail shops.

A case has been registered under BNS section 303 (theft), and CCTV footage is being checked to identify the thieves.
