Cristiano Ronaldo to enter scripted television with Thierry Henry in new British football drama led by Damian Lewis

Cristiano Ronaldo will executive produce and appear in the British football drama 'Day 1s'.

The series follows fictional elite football agent Stanley Dalton, played by Damian Lewis.

Thierry Henry is also expected to feature in the drama.

Filming has begun at Barnet FC's The Hive Stadium in north-west London.

The project is produced through UR•Marv, the studio Ronaldo co-founded with Matthew Vaughn.
