Canadian footballer driving in wrong lane dies in crash that also kills Indian

CFL player Jayden Dalke died after driving a silver SUV in the wrong lane on a Saskatchewan highway, causing a head-on collision.

Indian student Bhishma Rajyaguru, 22, was the second victim of the crash near Regina, Saskatchewan.

Police found alcohol and cannabis in Dalke's vehicle; witnesses said he was traveling northbound in the southbound lane.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders issued a statement honoring Rajyaguru and plan a pre-game ceremony for him.

An online fundraiser for Rajyaguru raised over CA$77,000 by Tuesday evening.
