Suvendu warns of action against Abhishek Banerjee over Sebaashray health camps

West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari warned of action against TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee over the Sebaashray free health camps, calling them a 'big scam'.

The CM alleged medical negligence at the camps, with victims claiming amputation due to expired medicines and use of unauthorised staff.

Multiple FIRs were registered at Bishnupur police station, and a probe was launched by CID, STF, district police, and health department experts.

X-ray and USG machines from government hospitals, as well as expired medicines from 2021, were seized from a former TMC MLA's godown.

Abhishek Banerjee launched the Sebaashray camp in January 2025 in his Lok Sabha constituency to provide free consultations, tests, and medicines.
