Lucknow police busted a child-lifting racket selling toddlers for ₹2.5 lakh.

An 18-month-old girl was kidnapped from outside a medical facility in Chowk and later abandoned after a buyer refused her.

Five people were arrested in connection with the operation.

The gang operated as an organized child procurement network, arranging kidnappings through associates.
