Blade Runner 2099 trailer is here; first look at Hunter Schafer, Michelle Yeoh in Prime Video series

Amazon MGM Studios released the first teaser trailer for Blade Runner 2099 at San Diego Comic-Con on July 24, 2026.

The eight-episode limited series premieres on Prime Video on November 25, 2026.

The series stars Hunter Schafer as Cora, a fugitive who becomes a Blade Runner, and Michelle Yeoh as Olwen, a Replicant nearing the end of her life.

The story is set 50 years after Blade Runner 2049 in a rebuilt futuristic Los Angeles, where Cora and Olwen track a runaway whose secret threatens the city's balance.

Blade Runner 2099 is created by showrunner Silka Luisa and is the first live-action television series in the Blade Runner franchise.
