Man Arrested After Assault on Mother in Tiruvannamalai

A 78-year-old woman died after her son allegedly ripped gold studs from her ears in Tamil Nadu's Tiruvannamalai district.

The assault occurred when the son demanded money to buy alcohol.

The woman succumbed to grievous injuries from the attack.
