Carolina Panthers LB Nic Scourton injured his right knee on the first day of training camp and was carted off.

Scourton, a 2025 second-round pick, had 47 tackles, five sacks, and nine QB hits in 17 games as a rookie.

Head coach Dave Canales said the team is 'hoping for the best' and Scourton will undergo additional testing.

The injury occurred on a wet practice field, and the entire roster showed support as he left.

Scourton's absence would test the Panthers' outside linebacker depth early in camp.
