Raigad cops seize ₹4-crore ‘whale vomit’ near Alibag, detains one

Raigad police seized ₹4-crore ambergris, known as whale vomit, near Alibag.

One person was detained in connection with the seizure.

Police conducted a special coastal patrol near Chalmala jetty at 1:30am on Sunday.

Officers noticed a man moving suspiciously on a scooter and intercepted him.
