Sinha flags off reading marathon for green future

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha flagged off the Reading Marathon at the banks of Dal Lake in Srinagar.

The event was organized by the National Book Trust as part of Education Week, celebrating six years of the National Education Policy.

The marathon carried the message 'Run for a green future', highlighting the link between learning and environmental responsibility.

Sinha urged participants to make reading a daily habit, adopt environmental conservation, and transform the marathon spirit into lifelong commitment.
