DU professor terminated over harassment allegations

The University of Delhi’s Executive Council terminated a political science professor over harassment allegations.

The Internal Complaints Committee recommended termination after an inquiry proved the allegations true.

Council member Rajpal Singh Pawar opposed leniency, rejecting a proposal to demote the professor to assistant professor.

The professor was terminated with benefits, according to an EC member.
