US commits to free Indo-Pacific as envoy joins Quad meet in Manila

US Ambassador Sergio Gor and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will attend the second QUAD ministerial meeting in Manila.

Washington reaffirmed its commitment to the QUAD grouping, calling partners essential for a free Indo-Pacific.

Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will also attend the meeting.

The QUAD includes the US, India, Australia, and Japan, focused on a free Indo-Pacific.
