Bangladesh’s pick of spokespersons in Delhi, Kolkata raise eyebrows

Bangladesh appointed Saidur Rahman and Umme Marufa as spokespersons in Delhi and Kolkata respectively before the decision was revoked.

Both appointees had made derogatory social media posts about India and its government.

By Tuesday, several of the offensive posts had been deleted from their accounts.
