Spokane Valley wildfire live evacuation map: Level 3 evacuations issued as Old Trails Fire tops 2,000 acres

The Old Trails Fire in Spokane Valley, Washington, grew to approximately 2,000 acres by 3 pm after being reported Saturday afternoon.

Level 3 evacuation orders were issued for areas bordered by Strong Road, Francis Avenue, Five Mile Road, and Cedar Road.

Level 2 evacuation orders are in effect for areas bordered by Price Avenue, Francis Avenue, Cedar Road, and Division Street.

An evacuation shelter opened at Spokane Falls Community College, and an animal shelter at Spokane County Fairgrounds.

Spokane County Emergency Management advised residents not to use North 291 Francis Avenue except as an evacuation route.
