SC flags 'frustration' of students in CBSE’s digital marking system

Supreme Court expressed concern over students' 'frustration' with CBSE's on-screen marking (OSM) system.

The bench led by Chief Justice Surya Kant sought assistance of Solicitor General Tushar Mehta in the PIL.

CBSE's OSM is a digital grading method where teachers assess scanned answer sheets on a computer.

A one-member commission led by S Radha Chauhan has been constituted to review the evaluation system.

The court asked for a status report and listed the matter for further hearing next week.
