Senior CPI(M) leader P K Sreemathi to move police over fake pension claim

Senior CPI(M) leader P K Sreemathi said she will approach police over social media campaign alleging she receives family pension in name of deceased MLA Krishnan.

Sreemathi denied knowing any MLA named Krishnan and said no such MLA has ever been elected to the Kerala Assembly.

The former minister stated she began her career as a teacher and has never received any legislators' family pension.

Sreemathi plans to file complaints with Director General of Police, Home Minister, Speaker of Kerala Assembly, and Chief Minister, plus defamation proceedings.
