Bihar man finds ₹1,500 crore in bank account

Kameshwar Mishra, a Bihar pensioner receiving ₹1,100 monthly, found a ₹700 crore balance in his account during a bank visit.

His son's account also displayed the same amount, bringing their combined balance to ₹1,500 crore.

The erroneous balance was due to a technical glitch and disappeared shortly after, returning both accounts to normal.

Mishra visited the bank with his deaf and mute son to withdraw his social security pension.

Bank staff were stunned by the massive balance displayed on the CBS system.
