Microsoft confirms Xbox outage, working on fix

Xbox Network is experiencing a massive outage that impacts account access, game launches, and storefront visibility.

Microsoft engineers are actively working to resolve the sign-in errors, game library access, and game launch issues but have not provided an estimated time for fixes.

The outage occurs just ahead of the July 28 release of Halo: Campaign Evolved, creating urgency for timely resolution.

This Xbox down follows a similar disruption to Sony's PlayStation Network less than a week earlier.
