Statehood key to restoration of J&K’s special status: Omar

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said restoration of statehood is necessary for restoring the region's special status.

Abdullah made the remarks in Srinagar on Tuesday.

He stated that the National Conference (NC) will continue to press the Centre for fulfillment of its commitment to restore statehood.
