Several unauthorised buildings demolished in Ludhiana

Several unauthorised buildings were demolished and others sealed in Ludhiana by a special team of the Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA).

The action targeted six structures in Threeke and Daad villages after developers ignored notices to stop illegal construction.

GLADA additional chief administrator Vikas Hira stated zero tolerance for unauthorised development and warned the public against buying plots in illegal colonies.

GLADA plans more demolition drives to check illegal construction at the initial stage.
