Hundreds of farmers under the Shetkari Hakk Morcha staged a Rasta Roko at Umri Cross Road in Beed tehsil.
The protest was led by farmer leader Rajendra Amte, demanding crop insurance compensation of ₹17,000 per hectare and a complete farm loan waiver.
Amte urged the Maharashtra government to explore cloud seeding to save crops, citing India's technological capability.
Protesters submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis through the Tehsildar.
The farmers warned against any discrimination or irregularities in implementing the farm loan waiver scheme.
